Lafayette Mittelstand Capital has acquired a majority stake of 75.1 % in Ferro Duo GmbH. The company is considered a pioneering innovator in the circular economy and specializes in recycling industrial waste products. With over 15 patents for innovative recycling and substitution processes, Ferro Duo occupies a leading market position. The investment aims to realize the transition from pilot scale to large-scale industrial production. This should sustainably reduce the carbon footprint of customers in the energy-intensive cement and steel industries.
Lafayette Mittelstand Capital will actively support further growth and invest in particular in scaling up the proven, patented processes in order to expand its market leadership in the circular economy.
